Despite Andrew issuing a statement saying he'd sought permission to step back from public duties, it is privately understood that he has basically been sacked.

Charities and British educational institutions that had fundraising ties to Andrew - the royal website lists dozens - had quickly begun to question if he could actually hurt their brands.

US attorney Gloria Allred, who represents some of the women abused by Epstein, said Thursday that Andrew should contact American authorities "without conditions and without delay".

While Barclays said it was concerned about the situation involving the Queen's 59-year-old son and was keeping its involvement with Pitch@Palace under review, telecom giant BT stated that it would only continue to back digital skills award programme iDEA if Andrew was dropped as patron of the project.

In his statement, Andrew said he was "willing to help any appropriate law enforcement agency with their investigations, if required".

Prince Andrew, who will lose his £249,000 annual income from the Sovereign Grant as a result of stepping down from his duties, is now being pressured into cooperating with authorities in the United States investigating the Epstein scandal.

Queen Elizabeth's third child has temporarily stepped down from official royal duties after a controversial interview he gave to British broadcaster, the BBC. Numerous court papers related to the Epstein case are still sealed and unavailable to the public.

"The question is where he answers", Stephens said. I take him at his word that he says he is going to co-operate and I hope that's what will happen'.

Giuffre says that when she was 15 and working at Mar-a-Lago, the resort owned by President Trump, she was recruited to be a masseuse by an Epstein associate Giuffre says she met Andrew in 2001 and had sex with him on three occasions - in London, in NY and on Epstein's private Caribbean island - and that she was paid by Epstein.

Adding to her look, the make-up team put on a sick of dark pink lipstick and black eyeliner to highlight her natural beauty. Tobias Menzies and Helena Bonham Carter are now playing Philip and Princess Margaret , respectively.

Andrew's friendship with Epstein has landed him in hot water before.

"The best way for him to begin to fix his damaged reputation would be to sit for an interview as soon as possible", she told reporters in NY.

"There are much better witnesses", he said.

He said he regrets not cutting ties with Epstein after the financier pleaded guilty in 2008 to soliciting a minor for prostitution in Florida under a deal that required him to serve 13 months in jail and register as a sex offender. "Those are the people with really probative evidence".

But the prince notably failed to express any sympathy for Epstein's victims.

Andrew will be scaling down his public work from now on, but it is not clear if his finances will change as he is supported by his mother the Queen and her help will never be disclosed.

The scandal-scarred prince has been facing stress from Epstein's alleged victims to reach forward and sigh to the Federal Bureau of Investigation about his feeble friend.

The queen, now 93, described 1992 as her "annus horribilis" after heir to the throne Charles and Andrew separated from their respective wives, and her only daughter, Anne, got divorced. "It remains to be seen if that will ever be possible, and that process could take a very long time".

A source, speaking for a sponsor of Andrew's Pitch@Palace, said his desire to carry on as normal would not work and if its "reputational" problems continued the backer would end its contract.
