Modern Warfare will receive its biggest free content update next week

The Season One content, including new maps, modes, and Special Ops content, will begin to deploy next week, and will arrive simultaneously on all platforms.

The roadmap for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare - Season 1 dropped today, giving everyone a glimpse at the incoming content.

It previously said that Modern Warfare Battle Passes will include free and premium streams, with players able to see all the content they are earning or buying.

Season One will get further detailed by Activision on December 3, when the aforementioned content is expected to drop, followed by a full reveal of the game's 100-level Battle Pass system.

In particular, it was taken to task for integrating the 1990 Gulf War attack on a Iraq-Kuwait highway in a way which moved responsibility away from US-led coalition forces.

A sizable free content update is coming to "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare", starting December 3, with an optional paid Battle Pass expected to launch in due course. On top of that, there's a range of new Spec Ops co-op missions, including one called Pitch Black which involves infiltrating Barkov's former estate.

A number of new maps will be part of the COD download, as well as new modes and weapon expansions.

New multiplayer modes include Reinforce, Gunfight OSP and Infected, which will be paired with weapon drops.

In its October digital games market report, SuperData has Call of Duty: Modern Warfare as the bestselling digital title on console and the sixth bestselling title on PC (by total earnings). And of course, Infected is a classic multiplayer mode that pits Survivors against one player with the goal of Infecting the others.
