Although today is December 4, or Jay-Z's 50th birthday, he's giving fans a present instead.

In a joint album released by Jay Z and wife Beyoncé Knowles-Carter, Everything Is Love, which hit Spotify and Apple Music two days after dropping on Tidal in 2018, Queen Bey sang on the track "NICE", "If I gave two f-s about streaming numbers/Would have put Lemonade up on Spotify". Eventually, the catalogue returned to Apple Music, but it has been missing from the largest music streaming service for a while now. Now, all we need is Joanna Newsom to return her music to Spotify and the world will achieve peace.

"Happy birthday, Hov Welcome back to Spotify", they tweeted, linking out to his tunes.

Not to be outshined by its owner's birthday, Tidal also announced on social media that it will honor Jay-Z by "livestreaming our collection of his music videos, performances, documentaries, and more all day long".

In other Spotify news, the streaming platform have revealed their Most Streamed Artists, Tracks And Albums Of 2019. With Tidal, only some of his albums were taken off the service, with records like both volumes of "In My Lifetime" and "Hard Knock Life" remaining in the rival streaming service.

Jay-Z performs onstage during the Meadows Music And Arts Festival on September 15, 2017 in New York City.

Fans can now stream 4:44 on Spotify for the first time, along with classics like The Blueprint, American Gangster and Watch The Throne.
