Braket is actually available now in preview form, and you can sign up for the service right here.

"This new service is created to let you get some hands-on experience with qubits and quantum circuits", said AWS vice president Jeff Barr.

Quantum computing services will only be located in new data centres in the USA for now as they partner with a variety of companies like D-Wave, IonQ, and Rigetti in bringing these services to the world.

Quantum computing is upon us. The company has now bumped up the Amazon.com Inc. subsidiary's status to "preferred cloud, artificial intelligence and machine learning provider", a move that will entail the company building several new AI projects on AWS.

Quantum computing is one of the most popular industries in the tech world. Amazon has entered into a partnership with D-Wave, IonQ, and Rigetti for this. Those interested in a simulation can experiment with qubits and quantum, the units of measurement in a quantum environment, and have calculations performed by a quantum computer. It takes its name from Bra-ket notation, which is commonly used to denote quantum mechanical states. However, there's no shortage of customers wanting to experiment with the power of quantum computing, Amazon observes.

Russia's Putin signs bill targeting journalists and bloggers
Russian Federation says it wants the law as a tit-for-tat mechanism if its journalists are defined as foreign agents in the West. Russian Federation can now designate independent journalists and bloggers as foreign agents after amending a controversial law.

Amazon Quantum Solutions Lab, a program that connects customers with quantum computing experts from Amazon and its technology and consulting partners to develop internal expertise aimed at identifying practical uses of quantum computing, and accelerating the development of quantum applications with meaningful impact.

AWS Center for Quantum Computing, which will bring together quantum computing experts from Amazon, the California Institute of Technology (Caltech), and other top academic research institutions to collaborate on the research and development of new quantum computing technologies.

"While the Center's work will be focused on solving longer-term technical challenges to quantum computing, some customers are ready to begin exploring quantum computing and gain experience now", AWS said in a statement.

Of course, quantum computing is a technically demanding field, and so Amazon notes that help is at hand in the form of the Quantum Solutions Lab.

Amazon Fraud Detector provides a fully managed service for detecting potential online identity and payment fraud in real time, based on the same technology used by Amazon's consumer business - with no machine learning experience required.
