Liverpool defender Virgil Van Dijk insists he is not losing any sleep over their lack of clean sheets as they continue to lead the way at the top of the Premier League.

The win extends Liverpool's superiority over Everton and gives the boys some excellent momentum going into the Bournemouth game on Saturday.

Keeping the busy schedule in mind, Jurgen Klopp made five changes to the side from the last game. It was always clear this period now of the year is where we need all of the boys and I hope they will then be in the shape like Shaq and Div, or Adam. The understanding with Shaq [Xherdan Shaqiri] and Sadio was obviously really good.

"If we talk about the summer, what we did or not, the injuries we have or not, it does not change anything for tomorrow's game".

The last Merseyside derby that took place at Anfield ended in a 1-0 win for the Reds, after Divock Origi scored in the 96th minute following a disastrous clearance attempt by Toffees goalkeeper Jordan Pickford. Richarlison bundled the ball in for Everton in first-half stoppage time for the sixth goal of the half - from a total of only six shots on target.

But Georginio Wijnaldum provided the only goal of a keenly-fought second half in the 90th minute and ensured victory for the home team.

He detailed, "For the past 20 years, it's been more and clear that there are remnants of planetary systems around white dwarfs". However, until now, scientists had never found evidence of a surviving giant planet around a white dwarf.

But before the weekend, we need to digest what happened during the Merseyside Derby. Despite the goals, Klopp chided his defense for conceding twice.

"Remember we don't have to speak about quality and quality differences", said the German, who admits he "didn't run through my living room celebrating" when his side were drawn against Everton in the third round of the FA Cup.

Liverpool is unbeaten against Everton for 19 years and hasn't lost to its rival at home in the Premier League since 1999.

However, the Liverpool fans loved the added bonus of Andy Robertson aggravating a lot of the Everton players.

"We are grounded. We know where we come. It was a really good game from both teams and we want to embrace the challenge", Silva said.

"It will be hard, they are at the top of the table, at home they beat nearly everyone they play against", Silva added. "The second half was more balanced".
