South Korean actor Cha In-ha dead at age 27

Another disturbing news from the Korean entertainment industry makes the headlines today.

The 27-year-old Surprise U band member passed away suddenly in his home, The Sun reports.

As a response to the circulating reports, Inha's agency Fantagio have came out with a short statement that reads, "We have heard the news and we are now looking into them".

Korean enjoyment internet site soompi reported the headlines with a statement through the star's agency Fantagio.

"We feel devastated to deliver such heartbreaking and unfortunate news". The agency also asked the netizens to respect the family's choice of having a private funeral. The reason behind Cha's death is unknown and investigation of the same is now in progress. A cause of death has not been announced. We express deep grief for his death.

Cha In Ha's death comes at a hard time for the Korean entertainment industry, following the deaths of K-pop stars Sulli and Goo Hara in the past two months.

His body was discovered by his manager, who reported it to the police.

His career had shown promise, with him being cast in MBC's ongoing drama Love With Flaws.

This recent death of K-Pop star Cha comes after a popular K-pop singer, Goo Hara, 28, was found dead at her home last month. had been subjected to personal attacks on social media.

Goo Hara, 28, was also found dead in her home in Seoul on November 24.
