In what may seem to look like a cover-up, the brand has chose to launch a third mission to supply the International Space Station in 2019 on Wednesday, according to reports. Winds in the upper level of the atmosphere were above the acceptable level for a safe launch, and seas near the drone ship stationed offshore, Of Course I Still Love You, were too rough to ensure the rocket's first stage could make a stable landing.

At Kennedy Space Center in Florida on Thursday morning, the countdown clock is again ticking toward a launch of the Falcon 9 rocket.

The mission's Dragon capsule is on its third trip to the orbiting laboratory, noted.

CIMON - an acronym for Crew Interactive Mobile Companion - is capable of conversing with astronauts, helping them remember procedures and eventually detecting their mood in case of problems on board.

At one point in the conversation, the robot responded with comments about dancing when Gerst told it to "cancel" the music it was playing. "The new version has better microphones and software life that can last up to three years in space". It also could be equipped with sensors, such as those that would detect carbon monoxide if astronauts appear groggy. The Falcon 9 rocket came less than an hour from launching Wednesday.

This mission will continue SpaceX's great track record with re-using elements of past launch and mission vehicles, with a Dragon cargo capsule (carrying 5,200 lbs of payload) that has flown twice before - once in 2014 and once in 2017. It'll dock with the station with the help of the robotic Canadarm2, and then spend around four weeks at the station, being unloaded and then loaded back up with 3,800 lbs or return cargo, which includes the results of experiments conducted on the station that researchers on the ground will study further.
