The nature of Akinjo's situation is still unclear, but court records reveal a restraining order was issued in November against LeBlanc and players Myron Gardner and Galen Alexander.

On Tuesday, athletic director Lee Reed said LeBlanc and Akinjo had "expressed an interest in transferring".

Akinjo was Georgetown's starting point guard. It did not say why he was removed.

Akinjo was averaging 13.4 points, second on the team, while LeBlanc was averaging 7.2 points.

Gardner and Alexander were still listed on the Hoyas' roster Tuesday night on Georgetown's website, while LeBlanc and Akinjo have been removed.
