According to reports, the Portuguese manager slept at the training ground after his team's narrow 2-1 defeat against Manchester United at Old Trafford, so that he could get up early to prepare for Tottenham's match against Burnley on November 7.

"The only thing that comes to my mind is the goal where I had the honour to be seated next to Sir Bobby Robson, it was Compostela-Barcelona, 1996, and Ronaldo Nazario got the ball behind the midfield line and scored a very similar goal to Son".

"I remember when Jermain Defoe was a young player at West Ham United, he was only 17, he went on loan to Bournemouth and I they were two leagues below the Premier League, but he was scoring goals and playing against men and I think that's what Parrott has to do now".

Further commenting on the match, the coach said: "A flawless day". Sad is grief. When you lose somebody you have to be sad. A soccer match, you lose one, tomorrow there's one other one.

It secured Tottenham's third win in four league games under Mourinho, sending the north London club back up to fifth.

"There is no solution against that, you lost that person".

"Keep moving and going and learn from the mistake".

Fawad Alam recalled in Pakistan squad for historic Sri Lanka Tests
Alam has replaced Iftikhar Ahmed while left-arm fast bowler Usman Shinwari comes in place of young fast bowler Mohammad Musa. The 34-year-old hit a debut century against Sri Lanka but was discarded after playing just three Tests in 2009.

Asked if his squad have this attitude yet, Mourinho continued: "That's my job - I'm here to help them. The most hard thing is the talent, the other things I am here to help them".

As a result, their nine-point advantage for the final Champions League spot has reduced to just five points, and that could further drop to three, should Wolverhampton Wanderers win their game in hand on Sunday.

Mourinho suggested Kyle Walker-Peters, Oliver Skipp, Ryan Sessegnon and Troy Parrot would be among those to get a run out at the Allianz Arena. "Because we are going to finish second".

"I'm going to play some of the players that have not played for me yet".

"It's a great opportunity for young people".

"There is also the prestige of the club involved".
