The feature alerts users when they receive a WhatsApp call while talking to someone else. The call waiting feature is not new and we are already enjoying in on our mobile phone systems, but for VoIP services offered by WhatsApp, its something very new.

From the beginning of February onwards, Android phones running version 2.3.7 and older will no longer be able to access WhatsApp nor will iPhones running iOS 8 or earlier versions. But now you will get an alert in the middle of the call as well as an option to disconnect the existing call and talk with the next caller. On Android, the WhatsApp call waiting feature has rolled out to both the stable and beta versions of the app.

The call feature on WhatsApp came nearly 4 years before.

The new visual style is applied immediately and an app restart is not needed. The introduction of voice calls in 2015 made so much sense, users rely on it most often than not.

Since the inception of the calling feature on Whatsapp, the users were looking for options to put a call on hold, or on waiting. If not, you can update the app now.

Air Force General Eduardo Mosqueira told local media that the plane did not give any distress signals before disappearing. He said the plane, whose pilot had extensive experience, had been scheduled to return Monday night.

WhatsApp is also rolling out the new group privacy feature. However, this feature is now not available on WhatsApp and you can either choose to connect with the existing call or disconnect the ongoing call and accept the second incoming call.

The proposed new feature would allow users choose between the light and dark side of WhatsApp while checking a box marked "battery saver", which automatically switches WhatsApp to dark mode when battery power is running low.

Apart from bringing new call waiting feature, the latest WhatsApp version 2.19.352 also adds couple of other new features to the app. We all know how competitive all these apps are so if this is something you need for your work or your personal communication needs, then you might want to try out WhatsApp if you haven't yet.
