In the packaging shot released by Square Enix, we can clearly see the "PlayStation Exclusive" sticker, with a note saying that it's a timed exclusive until March 3, 2021.

Final Fantasy 7 Remake also looks absolutely gorgeous, so of course I'd like to see how much better it could look on my rig.

NASA readies rocket for next mission to moon
NASA engineers spent last week deliberately breaking the Space Launch System's fuel tank in order to see how durable it is. The process involved a test version of the SLS rocket, one made specifically for these activities.

Square Enix was contacted for comment but did not immediately reply. It'll be available to play first on the PlayStation 4 exclusively for a year. We wonder whether this will be a label that Sony applies to other timed exclusive titles going forward, or whether it's part of the deal that it has with Square Enix. Disappointing sales of key IPs like Tomb Raider and Just Cause have pushed Square Enix to embrace a big multi-platform approach with its biggest games. Each episode is a full game in its own right, and the first episode releasing in March 2020 on PS4 is based entirely in Midgar.

Final Fantasy fans have been clamouring for a remake of FFVII for years. Ultimately this was an error, as it had the same release date as the PS4 version.
