Clippers use ‘knee maintenance’ to hold Kawhi Leonard out vs. Pacers

IN swapped George with the Oklahoma City Thunder in the summer of 2017 after the Swingman told the Pacers that he would not be signing with them again in 2018 as a free agent.

The former Pacers star scored 36 points, grabbed nine rebounds, made a season-high seven 3-pointers and had five assists in his first game in Indianapolis with the Clippers, leading short-handed Los Angeles to a 110-99 victory.

Paul George was once again booed when he returned to IN as a visiting player on Monday night, and he responded by having one of his best games of the season. George ended up giving a cryptic answer that hints at some foul play by those who are in charge of the Pacers organization. "And I promise you, I'm not the one to boo", George told ESPN's Ohm Youngmisuk postgame. I like being the villain.

But this night was all about George - and the fans, many of whom still haven't forgiven him for forcing a summer trade three years ago. "The people they should boo is here a lot longer than I am".

For now, it seems like George is much better off in Los Angeles as his team has a real chance at winning the National Basketball Association championship.

One dead, 'likely to be more' after New Zealand's Whakaari volcano erupts
Round half of those that have been on the island on the time of the eruption are thought to have been from Australia. Geonet, which provides quake and volcano hazard information for New Zealand , has their own webcam available here.

The Clippers (18-7) will be making another "return game" on Wednesday when Leonard makes his highly anticipated return to Toronto and receives his championship ring.

"Given the circumstances, I always want to win here", George said.

"You're getting close to trying to get this story out, aren't you?"

Clippers head coach Doc Rivers was taken aback by the response from the fans. George said. "I'm not going to bad-mouth KP".

"I can't explain this game", McMillan said. "I really was. I was ill-equipped". "But I was unprepared for that". Rivers expects a hero's welcoming on Wednesday. "That's a standing ovation". We got a taste of that in Vancouver.
