In the short video, Henry Cavill reads aloud an extract from The Last Wish, the first book of many focused on Geralt of Rivia's series of adventures. Personally, I think it looks pretty good, but then again I grew up in the '90s, when television didn't look exactly the same as the cinema, so I'm still thankful we don't have ad breaks.

Boom. Need they say more?

The Witcher is based on Polish author Andrzej Sapkowski's novels (which also inspired a series of role-playing videogames) and is set in a land called the Continent that was invaded by demons from a parallel dimension, which also gave rise to a breed of monster killers called Witchers.

Forza Horizon 4 is getting a battle royale mode called The Eliminator
Forza Horizon 4 Battle Royale is an actual real, tangible, not-even-a-little-bit-fake thing and I don't know how to feel. Gamers wishing for more Battle Royale in their lives had their prayers answered today with Forza's take on the formula.

Netflix's The Witcher is so close you should be able to taste it now, and a final trailer was just released.

"The Witcher follows the story of Geralt of Rivia, a solitary monster hunter, who struggles to find his place in a world where people often prove more wicked than beasts". But when destiny hurtles him toward a powerful sorceress, and a young princess with a unsafe secret, the three must learn to navigate the increasingly volatile Continent together. Additionally, Tomek Baginski and Jarek Sawko of Platige Image will executive produce as well.

The final trailer for Netflix's TV adaptation of The Witcher has dropped, and it's full of geopolitical turmoil. Geralt (Henry Cavill) is about to unleash so much justice I can't stand it. Normally, you could expect a bit of fan-boyism, but honestly, role-playing games are this writer's nemesis.
