The new 'Control' game mode is live right now

Control is one of my favourite games this year. The rewards for Expeditions are powerful, and can only be found within these challenges, well worth the effort to make the rest of the game a piece of cake.

Control is the third-person shooter from Remedy Entertainment, creators of Alan Wake and Max Payne.

Are you excited for the Control Expeditions DLC? Players will be able to access the mysterious Jukebox that is now kept under lock and key in Central Executive, once they have collected enough Jukebox Tokens. Once that's done you'll just need to obtain jukebox tokens in-game to access the new mode. You can pick these up by completing Bureau Alerts, Board Countermeasures, and by defeating hard named enemies. To activate it, however, you'll first need to secure a Jukebox Token in the area and talk to Arish to begin a side-mission. Meant to add post-game content, expeditions give you 25 minutes to clear four rooms.

Control challenges players to master a combination of supernatural abilities, modifiable loadouts and reactive environments while fighting through the deep and mysterious worlds Remedy is known and loved for. Announced during tonight's Game Awards, Expeditions is described as a combat-focused, timed game more for testing out your skills, build, and loadout within the Hiss-infected Black Rock Quarry Threshold.

Blues fall 5-2 to Buffalo
Linus Ullmark was in net for Buffalo's win last night and he continued to come up with some big saves to keep things in check. The first period rocketed off with the Sabres Sam Reinhart quickly giving the hosts the lead just 18 seconds into the game.

Control Expeditions is a brand new game mode available on PlayStation 4 today. The expansion is coming March 26.

There are more (paid) expansions on the horizon for 2020, including The Foundation, which looks into the history of the Oldest House, and the mysteriously titled AWE, described as "a new area of the Oldest House, the Investigations Sector, where the Bureau closely examines Altered World Events".

Those looking to get ready for The Foundation can pick up the season pass on sale now.

It's called Expeditions and according to patch notes from the developer, it is completely free to everyone. Some of my favorite games are Spelunky, Fallout: New Vegas and Chibi-Robo!
