Scarlett Johansson jokes about engagement to Colin Jost

As you can see, even though Johansson left her Black Widow costume in the vehicle, she got some help figuring out this pre-Christmas puzzle from Kenan Thompson's Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury, whose character name she had to be reminded of by Weekend Update co-host and one of SNL's head writers, Colin Jost.

Kenan Thompson portrayed Nick Fury in the monologue, while both "Weekend Update" co-anchors (and series co-head writers) Michael Che and Johansson's fiance Colin Jost joined her on stage as themselves.

After realizing that Pete Davidson got high and bought Thanos' Infinity Stone-studded glove off eBay, Johansson put a stop to the madness.

The couple got engaged in April and, speaking to talk show host Ellen DeGeneres, Johansson confessed she was "surprised" by Jost's proposal.

As the monologue went on, half of the cast began turning into dust.

Amid impeachment vote, Giuliani visits White House
US President invited Zelensky to the White House after the presidential election in Ukraine. A White House spokesman did not immediately confirm whether Trump met with Giuliani.

"I thought you'd be more relieved to see me", said Jost, with Johansson calmly replying, "I am". Eventually, he snapped the cast back to life. "I just want to say that this place means so much to me".

At the end of the show, the couple shared even more kisses as the credits rolled. "It was a special moment", explained Johansson.

Fresh off his debut performance on Saturday Night Live, Niall Horan caught up with Billy Costa backstage at the Kiss 108 Jingle Ball.

"Even if you imagine what that moment will be like, it's still a handsome moment ... when someone tells you that they want to spend their lives with you, that's something lovely and special", he explained.
