Patrick Kennedy served eight terms as a congressman representing Rhode Island and is the son of late Sen.

Van Drew, who had been one of two Democrats to oppose articles of impeachment against Trump, has been heavily criticized by his former Democratic colleagues in New Jersey for making the switch to the GOP.

"This rally is to show support for Republican Representative Jeff Van Drew", Principal Deputy Communications Director Erin Perrine said in a statement to Breitbart News.

The Trump/Pence campaign announced a rally Monday with President Donald Trump will be held in Wildwood on Tuesday, Jan 28. Van Drew bucked Democrats to join a united Republican Party in opposing impeachment.

Jeff Van Drew will host a Keep America Great rally at the Wildwood Convention Center.

Amy also spoke about about the importance of civility, the country's ongoing mental health and addiction crisis and environmental issues.

Van Drew faced a hard initial battle for the Democrats, including a challenge from Brigid Harrison, a professor of political science at Montclair University, who received support from leading local Democrats, including the President of the New Jersey Senate.

Three Republicans are vying to win the Republican primary against Van Drew: businessman Brian Fitzherbert, former congressional candidate Bob Patterson, and David Richter, a CEO.

The couple have four children aged from seven to one, and she has an older daughter from her first marriage.

Amy is the second Kennedy to announce a run for national office in 2020.

Another Kennedy is entering politics.

Now there is one Kennedy serving in Congress - Joe Kennedy III, 39, who has a Democratic House seat in MA but who is running a primary challenge to Democratic senator Ed Markey.

Patrick J. Kennedy was named for his great-grandfather Patrick Joseph - P.J.

Patrick J. Kennedy crashed his vehicle into a Capitol Hill barricade in 2006, was not given a sobriety test, and later checked into a rehab facility, confessing to prescription drug addiction, and pleading guilty to a DUI in a plea deal.
