Rock legend Meat Loaf expressed sympathy for teen environmental radical Greta Thunberg, arguing that she has been "brainwashed" into promoting a climate change hoax. "She has been brainwashed into pondering that there's local weather change and there is not". "She hasn't done anything wrong but she's been forced into thinking what she is saying is true". "It's not about left or right", she tweeted. "It's not about me". It's not about what some people call me. "It's not about left or right", she wrote.

Then, Greta responded by tweeting that attention should be focused on the "scientific facts" of climate change, a position that Amanda respects.

Armed with scientific, fact-checked, statistical proof, Thunberg took to Twitter to refocus the attention from Meat Loaf's accusation to the cause she's been rallying behind this whole time.

The teenage climate change activist has been at the centre of many high-profile slurs including one from the President of the United States, Donald Trump, who tweeted that she should "calm down" and "stay in school". And that we're not aware of the situation.

Sex Education Season 2 Release Date and Trailer
The trailer opens with Otis' mum Jean Milburn giving the less than impressed students of Moordale High a lecture on sexual health. In season 2, Otis has seemingly moved on with girlfriend Ola whilst dealing with a strained relationship with Maeve.

What do you think of the criticism Thunberg continues to receive online? "If we don't focus on it, our goals will soon be unattainable". Last year, Halestorm's Lzzy Hale called her a "modern day Joan of Arc", and The 1975 used Thunberg's speech at the World Economic Forum in their opening track on Notes on a Conditional Form.

"@GretaThunberg, don't let anyone dim your light".

Leonardo DiCaprio posted a video on Instagram of Thunberg and congratulated her on the honor, including Time's description of why she was selected.
