Taco Bell will start paying managers $100,00 salaries

Current salaries for general managers at Taco Bell's company-owned stores range from $50,000 to $80,000, a spokeswoman confirmed to the outlet.

By 2025, in Taco Bell restaurants across the globe, the brand aims to make all consumer-facing packaging recyclable, compostable or reusable.

2020 will continue this momentum with even more innovative, impactful pledges to purpose-led efforts throughout the coming year.

Taco Bell is looking for new ways to win over employees in the war for talent.

The Yum! Brands Inc. -owned chain will test the higher salary in select restaurants in the U.S. Midwest and Northeast, and will also try a new role for employees who want leadership experience but don't want to be in the management position.

Taco Bell also said that effective January 1, 2020, workers in all its corporate-owned restaurants will get at least 24 hours of paid sick time a year.

According to Taco Bell, the hope is that these initiatives will "enhance restaurant performance, employee satisfaction and support recruitment and retention"-all of which can be struggles in the quick service industry".

One burglar may have been too full to make a quick getaway after he broke in and ate some late night snacks at Taco Bell.

The incident occurred at around 12:15am on December 25 at a chain of the fast-food restaurant in the 4800 block of Sugarloaf Parkway, in Lawrenceville.

"As Taco Bell expands its footprint, our responsibility to drive positive impact increases", Taco Bell CEO Mark King said in a statement on Thursday.
