Elon Musk has shared a video via Twitter of a Tesla vehicle "talking" with pedestrians, claiming that the function will reach the range of electric cars "soon".

Tesla and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk has been dating singer Grimes since 2018 and the latter recently revealed the news of her pregnancy through a picture on Instagram, without actually confirming the same.

Tesla is constantly working on an innovation that will enable the cars to talk to passengers inside and outside pedestrians. It is not clear at this time if the function will use AI to really interact with pedestrians or if it is purely an audio player.

But the feature seems to make use of external speakers that Tesla reportedly began adding to Model 3 sedans previous year in response to regulations requiring quiet electric cars to make noise at low speeds.

Oscars 2020: Nominations announcement under way
Actor-producer John Cho and actor-writer-producer Issa Rae will host a live presentation to declare nominations of Oscars 2020. Scarlett Johansson is up for both best actress (" Marriage Story ") and best supporting actress (" Jojo Rabbit ").

Tesla had also started rolling out holiday updates, including a "full self-driving sneak preview", Musk teased last week.

On the other hand, this could be seen as rather problematic, especially if the speech isn't restricted to certain phrases and can be customized by the user - nothing will sooner cause issues than a auto with its windows up harassing passers-by.

The "Camp Mode" will allow customers who want to use vehicles for camping to maintain airflow, temperature, interior lighting, as well as play music and power devices. Only the headline has been changed.
