Now, Microsoft has set up a new webpage urging users to go for Surface devices as the end of Windows 7 is near.

"We have company, even if they have not yet fully moved to Windows 10".

"To ensure users do not fall victim to cybercrime related to Windows 7, users should seek an update immediately to ensure they're supported by a system that is supported with security updates".

The specific end of support day for Windows 7 will be 14 January 2020.

This is an app (Ghacks spotted the beta version, which hasn't yet been officially announced) that can be downloaded from the Microsoft Store, and the idea is it can identify any problems that crop up with the Windows Search Indexer. So, here are 3 reasons why you need to activate Windows 10 on PC/Laptop.

China buys $ 200 billion more under first trade deal: Treasury Secretary Mnuchin
According to him, there are very important intellectual property rules in the deal that the USA expects the Chinese to adhere to. In 2017, prior to the start of hostilities, American farmers sold $19.5 billion in products to China.

Singh rues, unfortunately for Microsoft, Windows 7 was followed by Windows 8, which like Windows Vista, was again mired in controversy.

One way to access the compatibility mode is to right-click on an app's name or setup file Properties Compatibility tab. The most recent statistics of the big analysis firms show that Windows 7 remains in around 27% of PCs worldwide (although a considerable amount of these will undoubtedly be commercial machines, where updating the operating system on numerous computers is a proposal more prickly).

"Your PC will continue to start and run, but you will no longer receive software updates, including security updates, from Microsoft".

As it is said, you can never be 100% sure that hackers or intruders won't spike your system but these security updates tend to keep them at bay. This means you will not get any update, security patches, bug fixes after that.

Microsoft's official advice is to purchase a new PC running an operating system that is still supported, and now UK's GCHQ has joined the call for the estimated 400 million Windows 7 users to move to Windows 10, or if not, to take additional security measures. In addition, Microsoft customer service will no longer be available to provide Windows 7 technical support.
