Sporting Lisbon are considering the possibility of signing Manchester United midfielder Andreas Pereira on loan as part of the deal that would see Bruno Fernandes move to Old Trafford.

After suffering their worst start in the history of Premier League, Man Utd have now climbed to No. 5 having won nine matches, lost six and drawn seven.

While United have refused to comment on their expected approach for the Portugal global it is understood Sporting are braced for Fernandes to be sold to United.

The Portugal worldwide has reportedly said "yes" to the move, and has already agreed to a wage of about £99 000 (R1.8 million) a week, which works out to £5 million (R93 million) a season.

While United have looked at other options for a new creative attacking midfielder, Portugal global Fernandes is now the only player they are discussing a potential transfer for.
