Pakistan pacer Haris Rauf is making headlines in the ongoing season of the T20 league in Australia.

Thereby, he created history on his Melbourne Cricket Ground debut.

With the batsmen crossing before the catch being taken, Thunder captain Callum Ferguson (35) was on strike for the next ball and ended up playing on in a bid to play an innovative shot.

"For him to get a hat-trick on a pretty good wicket was outstanding".

In comparison, Daniel Sams has taken 15 wickets but taken part in all of the Thunder's eight games.

The Big Bash League (BBL) has up to this point matched up to fans' reckoning in view of the fact that it has provided them with some exhilarating clash between the bat and ball.

If BBL batsmen weren't already fearful of Pakistani pace sensation Haris Rauf, they will be after his MCG hat-trick. As a result, Thunder were restricted for a total of 145/5.

He now stands among the highest wicket takers in the league.

In his initial three overs, Haris was unlucky to be wicketless and conceded only 22 runs.

"Not sure we need the throat-cutting gesture from Haris Rauf every time he takes a wicket".

Earlier on Wednesday, Afghanistan skipper Rashid Khan had proved why he is one of the best in the business in the limited overs format as he registered his third career T20 hat-trick in a match between Adeliade Strikers and Sydney Sixers.

Rashid Khan, who is the No. 1 T20I bowler in the world, confined Jordan Silk (16) on the first ball of the 13th over to attain his hat-trick.
