Actor and Acting Coach Stan Kirsch Dead at Age 51

Actor Stan Kirsch, best known for his role as Richie Ryan on the original "Highlander" TV series, was found dead at his home in Los Angeles, Fox News has learned.

Police sources confirm Stan's wife, Kristyn Green, found the actor hanged on Saturday afternoon in their bathroom. Unaware of his age, Monica (performed by Courtney Cox) begins courting him earlier than discovering that he's simply 17-years-old.

A tribute to Stan on the existing's official Facebook internet page said, "Without Stan Kirsch, Highlander: The Sequence would were some distance much less".

His wife shared the statement on her own Facebook page as she thanked everyone for the 'outpouring of love and support.

'It is with great sadness that we acknowledge the passing of Stan Kirsch.

"I have not been able to respond to all text messages, calls, emails, but I have read or heard each one of them".

A bystander reportedly overheard parents talking about someone in the apartment who was "shocked by the eyes" and "very lost". Pete has always been open about his recreational drug habits and mental health, making endless jokes about marijuana.

The note further added, "Stan was at a disadvantage compared to other actors portraying immortals on the series. I if truth be told feel surrounded by worship and am forever grateful to every and each of you". He was never able to have flashbacks from the 1800's or discuss how things were "back in his day".

The praise Kirsch received is for his performance as one of the show's more challenging roles. Stan's most noted character came in 1992, when he had been cast Richard H.'Richie' Ryan about the show Highlander, dependent upon the 1986 picture of the exact same name.

Throughout his career, Kirsch appeared in various projects, including Friends, General Hospital and JAG. Each time we had the chance to catch up with Stan, he had been nothing but kind, considerate and honest. It was a warm presence that will be missed.

Kirsch also appeared in an episode of "Friends", playing Monica's boyfriend, Ethan, who shocks her by revealing he is a high school student.

Los Angeles County Medical Examiner-Coroner records state Kirsch's manner of death was ruled a suicide.
