WarnerMedia announced on Wednesday that AEW Dynamite will continue to air on TNT until 2023.

"And even fans of wrestling are no doubt hoping for a repeat of those so-called Monday Night Wars between WCW and WWE, Reilly says that there are no plans to broadcast the new series on Monday nights contrary to WWE's" Raw". Meltzer reports that Tony Khan has an agreement to not counterprogram the National Football League, meaning that the show won't air on Sunday, Monday or Thursday. In addition to Dynamite, AEW airs a weekly web series of dark matches on YouTube called AEW: Dark. It will be interesting to see how AEW bolsters their roster to prepare for this move.

WarnerMedia continuing to work with AEW is a smart, unsurprising decision. A video was embedded within the tweet in which both Taz and AEW Executive Vice President Cody Rhodes talked about how happy they both were.

From the press release yesterday, the deal also includes another night of AEW programming.

The recent signing of the "phase one" trade deal with China is expected to lend additional support, at least in the near term. Enhance in user spending is anticipated to believe slowed to around or below a 2.5% fee in the fourth quarter.

The new extension is said to be for 4 years and $175 million, just under $45 million per year, according to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer.

AEW: Dynamite has been a top 20 cable show, averaging 1.2M total viewers and 654,000 in the demo in Live +7 ratings. The show also delivers the youngest wrestling audience on television.

"When we launched AEW one year ago, we wanted to start a revolution that would disrupt the wrestling business, but everyone said that it would take a strong weekly television partner to make AEW real in the eyes of everyone - above all, the fans", said AEW CEO Tony Khan. Reilly said he wants to AEW to have some presence on YouTube, but wouldn't necessarily keep putting the entire episode of Dark on YouTube only. "Were now making the ultimate statement that the team of AEW and TNT is here to stay and to bring fans more of the great wrestling that the fans demand and deserve".
