Every time he directed the State Department to fire Yovanovitch, Parnas said, the order was refused.

On Thursday, Trump distanced himself from Parnas, telling reporters, "I don't know him at all". Parnas told Maddow that "all were in the loop" and led by President Trump.

As the two Articles of Impeachment against President Trump were delivered to the U.S. Senate, the nonpartisan Government Accounting Office delivered a report that supports them, and Rudy Giuliani associate, Lev Parnas delivered damming allegations that would support Impeachment investigations against Vice President Mike Pence and other members of the Trump administration.

Secretary of State Mike Pompeo on Friday broke almost 72 hours of silence over alleged surveillance and threats to the former USA ambassador to Ukraine, saying he believed the allegations would prove to be wrong but that he had an obligation to evaluate and investigate the matter. "They are moving her tomorrow".

In one message, Hyde told Parnas that Yovanovitch had turned off her phone and computer and that his associates in Ukraine would send updates on the ambassador's movements.

Also on Thursday, Ukraine said it had asked the F.B.I. for help investigating the reported penetration of Burisma's computer systems by hackers working for Russian intelligence.

As part of the pressure campaign against Ukraine, Mr. Trump's allies were trying to have Ms. Yovanovitch, who was seen as an impediment, removed from her post.

Messages exchanged between Parnas and Republican congressional candidate Robert Hyde suggest Hyde was communicating with people in Ukraine who were closely watching Yovanovitch's movements.

Parnas worked with Giuliani to dig up political dirt on the Bidens in Ukraine and said in an interview on Wednesday the effort was to ensure Trump would win another four-year term. "Guess you can do anything in the Ukraine with money. what I was told". But Ukraine also noted that it's possible no illegal surveillance ever took place.
