Joshua presents belts to Buhari in UK

Femi Fani-Kayode, a former Nigeriam minister has reacted to a photo of World heavy weight champion, Anthony Joshua prostrating before President Muhammadu Buhari.

Joshua presented the belts to President Buhari at a meeting he had with a group of the Nigerian Community in the United Kingdom.

The 30-year-old celebrated his recent victories with the President on Saturday when the Nigerian leader met with some Nigerians living in the United Kingdom.

In a post he made on social media, Femi berated the act by Anthony Joshua when he prostrated before President Buhari expressing his utter disappointment at the British born Nigerian boxer.

President Buhari was flanked by Gombe State Governor Inuwa Yahaya, the Minister of Foreign Affairs Geoffrey Onyeama, Trade and Investment minister Adeniyi Adebayo, the Chairman of the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission Abike Dabiri-Erewa and Nigeria's High Commissioner to the UK, Justice Adesola Oguntade, among others.

Ruiz had won the match in Madison Square, New York, while Joshua reclaimed the titles in Diriyah, Saudi Arabia in December 2019.
