The biggest names in film and television are set to come together for a night of celebration at the 26th Annual Screen Actors Guild (SAG) Awards at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles, Calif.

In fact, the Producers Guild Awards (PGAs) is generally more predictive than the SAG awards.

"But we're in such a dire situation so deeply concerning to me and to so many others, I have to say something".

The SAG honors, which are voted upon and awarded by actors, are generally considered strong indicators of how things will go in the acting categories on Oscar night, but they are also coveted by performers as a sign of peer recognition. They include dark comic book story Joker, heart-wrenching divorce drama Marriage Story, immersive World War One film 1917 and novel adaptation Little Women.

Aniston later won an award of her own for best female actor in a drama series for the Apple TV Plus show "The Morning Show". A win at SAG later on Sunday after a Golden Globe earlier this month will further boost her chances for a second Oscar next month. "What!" she said upon reaching the stage.

"Coach of the week goes to my son", says Sania Mirza
Thanking her family and team she said: "I can't say it enough. I asked Rohan and he said yes, so we made a decision to play.

Others noticeably pumping up the volume were Nathalie Emmanuel ("Game of Thrones"), whose strapless, floral-festooned Miu Miu gown sported an vast bow at the breastbone ("I like to see myself as a present, you know?" she said to the People TV reporter, to which we again say, "Mission accomplished"); Jennifer Lopez ("Hustlers") in Georges Hobeika; and Millie Bobby Brown ("Stranger Things") in a custom white silk taffeta Louis Vuitton coat dress and pants. "You was robbed! But Mama loves you!" she tweeted back.

As expected, Phoenix took best performance by a male actor. "This makes no sense", a shocked Borstein said.

De Niro, a fiery critic of Donald Trump, referenced the president in his remarks.

"There's right and there's wrong", he said. "So I have nearly new eyes that I'm seeing what it is that I do as an actor".
