This amount may not be enough to convince Valve, but it can not be denied that the redevelopment of the Left 4 Dead series will attract the attention of the players, especially if the series will be playable on consoles for the first time. The campaign started Joshua, "Why the Left 4 Dead games again developing a new mode for the next generation consoles and custom map support?" "We did briefly explore some Left 4 Dead next opportunities a few years ago".

Valve will, however, release new Dota and Half-Life games this year.

Valve collaborates with HTC on the Vive platform, with the rumor mill generating plenty of hype, Valve felt the need to step in and confirm that Left 4 Dead 3 does not exist. Stocks were snapped up by excitable fans as Half-Life: Alyx comes free if you've got Valve's own VR gear. Valve News Network alleged that the company "changes (d) everything about its future plans for virtual reality, public communication and game development in general" as a result of this great interest in Half-Life: Alyx.

In fact, it seems that Valve News Network had crossed its cables. It turns out that the rumours regarding Left 4 Dead 3 being back in development as a VR game weren't quite as accurate as we might have hoped. There was a Left 4 Dead project in progress, which is where those frightful zombie faces come from. And just because Valve isn't working on Left 4 Dead 3 right now, doesn't mean it will never return to the franchise, right?
