My Chemical Romance confirms return to the UK

Now, later this year they'll be hitting up Milton Keynes' Stadium MK in June for a headline performance that's bound to be fairly decent.

Fans on this side of the pond have been eagerly awaiting the news since the band announced their Halloween reunion past year - and now it's finally here.

My Chemical Romance have released a mysterious new video to tease their upcoming United Kingdom concert and the short clips features an previously unheard instrumental track.

The band revealed the show in a teaser video titled "The Offering".

And indeed, they confirmed today that they will be heading to the MK Stadium in Milton Keynes for a show on Saturday, June 20.

And if that wasn't intriguing enough of a cast for you, the Netflix film also stars Post Malone and comedian Marc Maron . The first trailer, featuring Wahlberg co-starring with Us and Black Panther breakout Winston Duke , has landed.

Last month, MCR played their first show in years, returning to the stage at The Shrine in LA. After more than a decade together, the band had announced its break up in 2013 when the band's lead singer Gerard Way posted a note on Twitter saying, "My Chemical Romance is done".

Tickets for the gig are expected to go on sale on Friday, January 24 from Ticketmaster and your other ticket outlets. After the band announced their first reunion concert on Halloween of 2019, it appears that they're building up towards something huge.

It's been almost 10 years since they last released an album, with 2010's Danger Days: The True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys. But it can never die. I always knew that, and I think you did too. It is alive in me, in the guys, and it is alive inside all of you. "Because it is not a band - it is an idea", he wrote in a statement.

Back in October, when they announced the December show, they also announced a series of shows around the globe in Spring 2020.
