"There's no superstitions", Frank DeMauro, Northrop Grumman vice president and general manager for Tactical Space Systems, told reporters here today. For Sunday's launch, there is nearly a 95% chance of good weather.

Weather conditions should be 90 percent favorable for the launch, according to official forecasts.

The launch was originally set for 5:39 p.m. but that was pushed back to 5:44 p.m. This underscores how the Cygnus spacecraft continues to serve scientific needs and commercial business in low-Earth orbit through the second phase of its resupply missions to the space station. "The capability to load cargo just before launch, and the increased performance of Antares, provides NASA with the flexibility they can depend on for timely and cost effective Space Station resupply".

A Northrop Grumman Antares rocket carrying a Cygnus resupply spacecraft is horizontal for the final cargo load on Pad-0A, at NASA's Wallops Flight Facility in Virginia on February 7, 2020.

In addition to that hard cheese, there's some hard science riding up to the station on Cygnus NG-13.

The capsule carries equipment for multiple science experiments.

Annegret Kramp-Karrenbauer: Favourite to replace Merkel stands down
According to Bloomberg 's report , Merkel has made clear that she plans to play a direct role in choosing her potential successor. Merkel's conservative block holding steady at about 28% support nationally, followed by the left-leaning Greens at about 22%.

That haul includes the Mobile Space Lab to grow tissues and cells in space, a bone-loss experiment to study the effects of microgravity exposure and a batch of genetically engineered E. coli bacteria that may produce a potential biofuel.

NASA flight controllers based at the space agency's Mission Control Center have let the station's current Expedition 62 members know about the glitch and delay. In 1967, the U.S. Air Force selected Lawrence as an astronaut for the Manned Orbiting Laboratory program.

Northrop Grumman solves the toughest problems in space, aeronautics, defense and cyberspace to meet the ever-evolving needs of our customers worldwide. The company is NASA's commercial partner.

But shortly after the scheduled launch time, it was announced the launch attempt had been cancelled because of “off-nominal data from the ground support equipment”.

The company came within two to three minutes of launching a cargo ship from Wallops Island to the International Space Station for NASA.
