True to its word, the company has launched its much-awaited Mi 10 series today in China. On the front, you will get a 20 MP camera for selfies. The smartphone comes with a 90Hz refresh rate and 180Hz touch sampling rate. Redmi joined the high refresh rate club with the Redmi K30 earlier previous year.

The Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro both feature a punch-hole style display. Same as Mi 10, it is also powdered by Snapdragon 865 chipset and runs on MIUI 11. The top of the line variant with 12GB RAM and 512GB of internal storage has been launched in China at a price of 5,999 yuan (approximately ₹61,400). Xiaomi has, however, added into the mix Write Turbo to boost write speeds up to 733MB/s. The Mi 10 ships with a curved 6.7-inch AMOLED display, as well as the latest Android 10 OS. There's also stereo speakers on board. It includes a 108MP primary camera with a 7P lens and OIS support. The second camera involves a 13-megapixel ultra wide camera with 123-degree FOV while the other cameras include a 2-megapixel macro sensor and a 2-megapixel depth sensor.

It supports 8K video recording at 24fps, OIS+EIS for super stabilized videos, RAW photo capture, and a ton of other features.

The Mi 10 packs a large 4,780mAh battery with 30W fast charging, while the Mi 10 Pro has a slightly smaller 4,500mAh battery with faster 50W fast charging. Xiaomi says you can fully juice up the device in just 56 minutes. There's also support for 30W wireless charging and there's even a 10W reverse wireless charging system. The one on the Mi 10 Pro (ISOCELL Bright HMX) uses 4-to-1 binning to replicate a 1.6μm pixel size, while the one on the S20 Ultra (ISOCELL Bright HM1) adopts a more advanced 9-to-1 binning process to replicate a 2.4μm pixel size. The design is exactly the same, along with the display and internal hardware. The Mi 10 Pro's display has a maximum brightness of 1200 nits, which puts it higher than the Apple iPhone 11 Pro Max.

The Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro both feature quad or four cameras at the back. Next up, we find a 12MP short telephoto cam with 2x zoom, a 1/2.6-inch type sensor and f/2 aperture followed by an 8MP OIS long telephoto cam capable of 10x hybrid zoom with a 1/4.4-inch sensor and f/2 lens. Images from the main cam are similar to last years Mi CC9 Pro (Mi Note 10 outside China) but offer better texture rendering, improved corner sharpness and low-light performance.

We're not too sure when the Xiaomi Mi 10 global launch event will be, as the cancellation of MWC 2020 (where it was set to take place) means the Xiaomi event has been cancelled.

The Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro is available in titanium silver black, peach gold, and ice blue.

Xiaomi's Mi 10 is powered by a 4,780mAh battery and has 30W wired fast charging support and 30W wireless fast charging support. It also gets the same 30W wireless and 10W reverse wireless charging but you can get the 65W wired charger to refill the phone faster.
