Masterminded by college-aged Ki-woo, the Kim children expediently install themselves as tutor and art therapist, to the Parks.

Co-written with Jin Gained Han, Parasite tells the darkly comedic story of two households, the poverty-stricken Kims and the opulently rich Parks, who develop into intertwined after the much less lucky household deceives their means into the Parks' day by day lives. When a parasitic intruder threatens the newly discovered comfort of the Kim, a wild and ruthless battle for dominance is unleashed, which threatens to destroy the fragile ecosystem between the Kim and the Parks.

No release date has now been set for the special Criterion Collection editions for both films, but both are now available for purchase on various digital platforms!

Coronavirus inflicts growing toll on China's health workers
In Cambodia, another cruise ship, the Westerdam , finally docked after being turned away by several Asian and Pacific governments. Infection cases and deaths attributed to the virus have been concentrated in the regional transport and business hub.

Parasite debuted at Cannes where it became the first Korean film to win the coveted Palme d'Or and has since gone one to play at festivals across the country, including Telluride, Toronto, and New York Film Festival.

Before Bong Joon Ho's "Parasite" made history as the first non-English best picture victor in Academy Awards history, he made a modest plea to American moviegoers: Don't be afraid of subtitles.

Before "Parasite" won over several Oscars, Chinese-American director Lulu Wang's "The Farewell" triumphed at Saturday's Film Independent Spirit Awards. It was the first time a non-English film won Best Picture in the award show's history. South Korea nominated "Parasite" and so the trophy actually goes to the country.
