The Strokes unveil new music at Bernie Sanders rally

Who knew Strokes' fans would be experiencing the best setlist since FYF 2014, and the debuts of new songs at a presidential rally?

As for the band's newest single, "The Door", the song arrived with its own animated music video on Tuesday.

To celebrate, The Strokes revealed a music video for the album track "At The Door" and announced an intimate, February 19 performance at London's Roundhouse.

Over the weekend, the band ramped up anticipation for their next album.

"The New Abnormal" is technically the sixth studio album since their LP "Future Present Past" in 2016.

Although The Strokes have never been ones to side or discuss political issues, they went all out for their first political outing and gave an energy-filled performance to the largest Democratic rally in New Hampshire. Speaking of which, Casablancasconfirmed the albumwould be arriving on April 10th. According to the teaser, it has the title "The New Abnormal".

In a statement announcing the concert and supporting Sanders, Casablancas said: "We are honored to be associated with a patriot and fellow New Yorker so dedicated, diligent and reliable".

Prior to the band playing Casablancas gave high praise to Sanders, stating, "As the only truly non-corporate candidate, Bernie Sanders represents our only chance to overthrow corporate power and help return America to democracy". "That's why we support it".
