Apple is designing its own antenna for this year's 5G iPhone

It could seem unusual for Apple to release an old iPhone handset, but rumours are swirling the iPhone 9 could be coming for a May release.

Apple could introduce its first iPad Pro with 5G connectivity this fall.

While the lower-cost iPhone may be on its way, DigiTimes He also reports that Apple has stopped sending engineers to China to help with the engineering validation test or the EVT stage of iPhone 12 development.

Following several underwhelming years in terms of sales volume, the Cupertino-based tech giant reportedly expects the iPhone 12, 12 Plus, 12 Pro, and 12 Pro Max to generate significantly higher demand than its predecessors. Since launch, the corporate is providing a reduction on Apple iPhone 11 Pro for the primary time. Manufacturing company, Totallee has already launched pre-orders for low-priced iPhone SE 2 case.

Since some of these companies are Apple MFi partners it may lead you to believe that they have access to inside information from Apple, but it's far more likely that they're simply making guesses to try and stay ahead of the curve. In a year in which Apple hopes to return to iPhone sales grown, it's depending on 5G's fast connection speeds to convince many of its current customers to upgrade.
