Google introduces emoji mashup stickers to Gboard on Android

It is now left to you to mash up the emoji you chose to send and add this from the Emoji Kitchen and send in the message. You can do this by pressing the blue smiley face to the side of the space bar on your phone's keyboard.

Google Gboard has always been an experimental application to test new ideas in self-expression, even with releases such as its own set of custom emoji, called Emoji Minis, as well as with features such as doodles, Morse code entry, emoji suggestions and GIFs, and others in past years.

Emoji Kitchen began rolling out to Android users with the Gboard yesterday. Google calls it Emoji Kitchen and it permits you to pick up any particular emoji you wish to add and then mash them up with customized emojis from Gboard.

Google introduced my new favorite thing this morning, that being Emoji Kitchen for Gboard beta users.

So when you tap the face with a cowboy hat emoji - Yeehaw. now you have monkey cowboy, ghost cowboy, laughing cowboy, kissy cowboy, in love cowboy, pleading cowboy and of course, pensive cowby. The creator also eventually made a free iMessage sticker pack out of some of the new emoji that the bot created. After receiving that you should be able to use it in other apps such as What's App, Messenger, Telegram, Gmail, and Messenger. Google says that these are "specifically handcrafted by the designers at Google". Only those emojis which have the support from Google can be used.

If you're the type to spice up your text conversations with emojis, you'll probably appreciate the latest feature for Gboard.

The emoji starter back features 10 emoji combinations designed by developer Maxence Guegnolle.
