The Warzone menu itself allows players to do numerous activities when the mode goes live. This could be yet another teaser for the battle royale mode, or this could relate to something different entirely.

At this point, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare's battle royale mode, Call of Duty: Warzone, is nearly a certainty.

Interestingly, with a season 2 update to Modern Warfare, it looks like Infinity Ward has added a "Classified" mode to the main menu. While in the private match, you need to enter the "CODcaster mode", which is primarily used for spectating in Modern Warfare's "Call of Duty League" esports matches. Another scene showing a green gas could be an indication of how the shrinking circle of death would be like in the new mode.

It remains to be seen whether this is a temporary fad, or whether it marks a permanent trend in the gaming industry. It will release for the Valve Index, the HTC Vive, the Oculus Rift, and the Windows Mixed Reality VR programs.

The "Weapons" tab of the menu includes sections called "Edit Drop Kits", "Watch Select", and "Armory". Both show the Warzone title in the upper left, as corroborated by a recent key art leak, and one even gives us an idea of how players will be able to customize their loadouts heading into a match. The key art shows Ghost standing on a crashed helicopter while surrounded by a team.

For a long while, the Call of Duty release schedule was fairly predictable, with three Activision studios taking turns at putting out their own projects. While we don't have a release date or even official confirmation as of yet, sources say as soon as tonight the mode could drop.

Also following Modern Warfare's Season Two update, what purports to be a promotional image was leaked on Reddit, also titled Call of Duty: Warzone.
