Fashion show a family affair for Beckhams

Victoria Beckham chose black dresses paired with distinctive belts and chunky thigh-high platform boots for a collection she characterised as a "gentle rebellion" at London Fashion Week on Sunday.

The pop star-turned-designer said her autumn-winter 2020 to 2021 collection came from "thinking about the tension between refinement and rebellion". Victoria's children often feature on her and David Beckham's Instagram accounts, and it's clear just how close they are.

Victoria Beckham usually takes a "gang's all here" approach to fashion week - and this season proved no different.

The family was seated next to fashion royalty, American Vogue editor Anna Wintour and British Vogue editor Edward Enninful, who collaborated previous year with Meghan Markle, Duchess of Sussex, on the magazine's fastest-selling issue in history.

Also, sixth-seeded Maria Sakkari beat Alize Cornet 6-2, 6-4 and will next face top-seeded Belinda Bencic in the quarterfinals. Kvitova said the unspecified illness had bothered her during Thursday's three-set win over Alison van Uytvanck.

"I wanted to explore how to honour tradition but challenge convention". The models strode onto a mirrored floor, which reflected the classical Rubens paintings on the ceiling and the hall's grand chandeliers. "To be subversive yet sophisticated", the designer said in her collection notes.

"This is what I call my gentle rebellion".

Taking pride of place on today's front row were David, Romeo, Cruz and Harper - only Brooklyn missed mum's show - who had their camera phones dutifully trained on the catwalk.

The former pop star made an appearance at the close of the showcase, wearing a white shirt tucked into flared black pants with her hair in an elegant ponytail.
