Disney+ will launch in the UK, Ireland, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Austria, and Switzerland in just one month's time on March 24th. This offer will see users pay an equivalent of £4.17 per month, versus £4.99 per month for the regular annual subscription or the month-by-month cost of £5.99 per month. Standard pricing at launch is confirmed at €6.99per month, or €69.99 for an annual subscription.

Furthermore, The Mandalorian - the live-action Star Wars series and perhaps the platform's biggest draw - looks set to be drip-fed on a weekly basis rather than all episodes landing at once, again, despite the full season already being available in the United States and other parts of the world.

The slate of Disney+ Originals from launch includes as The Mandalorian, High School Musical: The Musical: The Series, Diary of a Future President, The World According To Jeff Goldblum, Marvel's Hero Project, Encore!, Disney Fairytale Weddings, Be Our Chef, Pick of the Litter, Shop Class and The Imagineering Story.
