As we noted earlier this year at CES 2020, laptop makers seem more eager than ever to add AMD CPUs to their gaming portables.

Interestingly, Lenovo is also making the ThinkPad X13 available with AMD's new 7nm Zen 2-based Ryzen 4000 mobile processors. Lenovo is the latest to do so with a refresh of its ThinkPad range of laptops.

However, there are a couple of new feature additions worth noting when configuring a new system that includes an optional on-cell touch display for the L-series as well as AMD Rysen PRO 4000 Mobile processor options available for ThinkPad T14s, T14, X13, L14, and L15 devices.

Lenovo said that all of the new ThinkPad models will offer Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax), regardless of processor.

The most successful ThinkPad series, the T series is the mainstay of the ThinkPad lineup.

Mission: Impossible 7 Filming in Italy Halted
Shooting was supposed to last in Venice three weeks, and after the crew had planned to go to the other overseas regions. Production on the next installment of Mission: Impossible 7 has been halted as the coronavirus continues to spread.

The primary change here seems to be that where you may have been shopping for a 14-inch T490 or T490s in the past, this generation you'd be looking for a T14 or a T14s.

While features vary depending on the model, one thing that all of the new ThinkPads have in common is that Lenovo will offer them with a choice of 10th-gen Intel Core vPro or AMD Ryzen Pro 4000 Mobile processors. Lenovo also upgraded all laptops to Wi-Fi 6 connectivity and both the T14 and T15 models include Nvidia GeForce MX330 graphics with 2GB of dedicated GDDR5 memory. The Yoga model, with prices starting at $1,099, has Dolby Audio Speaker System and can come with an optional UHD OLED display with Dolby Vision. The latter lets you rouse your PC from sleep without lifting the lid or mashing the keyboard.

Lenovo's ThinkPad T-series specifications. All the devices undergo 12 Mil-Spec top-level tests and are tested under extreme cold, heat, vibration, humidity, shock, radiation, dust, and altitude conditions. And if something does go wrong with your ThinkPad, the company offers 24/7 Premier Support every day of the year in over 100 markets.

In the case of the ThinkPad X13 and X13 Yoga, Lenovo has trimmed the fat from the laptop and convertible respectively, making them smaller and lighter than their predecessors.
