Twenty-three films have already been released in MCU, and Black Widow will be the fourth. It is probably one of our best looks yet at the villain, though he has been the focus of a lot of the promotional material released thus far.

The release of the much-anticipated movie of the year, "Black Widow, ' scheduled to release on May 1, 2020, has been postponed worldwide as announced by Disney on Tuesday, March 17, due to the global pandemic". The character of Yelena will be soon introduced in the Marvel Cinematic Universe in the upcoming Black Widow solo movie.

While Disney and Marvel Studios haven't announced a new release date for Black Widow, it has been reported that the delay in the release will not impact Marvel's Phase 4 plans, so it sounds like the flick can basically be released whenever and not negatively impact the other Phase 4 flicks and TV shows. It's unclear who the character is under the mask, but it will more than likely be someone who is close to Natasha Romanoff. Black Widow might be one of the original members of the Earth's Mightiest Heroes, but Marvel's barely given time to explore Natasha as a character the same way that it's explored the narratives of Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.), Thor (Chris Hemsworth), and Captain America (Chris Evans). Although he isn't sure of the studio's plans for the movie. Since the movie was going to make a good amount of money at the global box office, the studio will likely just wait to put it out, even though releasing it online to fans would absolutely massive and trailblazing for the industry.

Not only would Black Widow kickstart Phase 4 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, but it would allow fans to revisit Natasha Romanoff (Scarlett Johansson) after her heartbreaking sacrifice in Avengers: Endgame.

When interrogating Loki, Natasha mentions she would love to wipe the red from her past, feeding him false information in hopes of getting answers from the god of mischief, he responds with what he learned having been in control of Clint Barton, aka Hawkeye's, mind.
