New England Patriots wide receiver Phillip Dorsett (13) carries the ball during warm-ups prior to an National Football League wild-card playoff game against the Tennessee Titans, Saturday, Jan. 4, 2020 in Foxborough, Mass.

Reportedly, officially, he isn't, agreeing to a one-year deal with the Seattle Seahawks, according to multiple reports. Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network later reported that it's a one-year deal for the former Patriots wideout.

Dorsett addresses another need for Seattle, providing depth and additional speed on the outside for quarterback Russell Wilson.

Ex-Michigan WR Devin Funchess to sign with Green Bay Packers
Seeing as none of the three eclipsed 477 yards or three touchdowns, another wide receiver was a top priority in Green Bay. The former MI wide receiver is signing with the Green Bay Packers , according to NFL Network's Tom Pelissero .

"Seattle felt the best opportunity to be the player I know I can be as a WR", he told Anderson, adding that he's already spoken with quarterback Russell Wilson. Shows you his work ethic.

His best season with New England came in 2019. While Dorsett never broke through as a higher-end weapon for Tom Brady, he played a supporting-cast role and posted 29 receptions for 397 yards and a career-high five touchdowns last season. In five career seasons, he's surpassed 500 yards just once. In three seasons with the Patriots, Dorsett caught 73 passes for 881 yards and eight touchdowns while averaging 12.1 yards per reception. In the team's season-opener against the Pittsburgh Steelers, he caught four passes for 95 yards and two touchdowns.

Dorsett now joins a Seattle receiver group that includes the likes of wide receivers in DK Metcalf and Tyler Lockett.
