Samsung's Galaxy S20 5G drops to its lowest price yet at Amazon

We have been hearing rumors about the new Samsung Galaxy A31 smartphone for some time and now the handset is official. Recently, the newly launched Galaxy M21 is now up for sale in India.

Galaxy A31 comes in four color options i.e. Prism Crush Black, Prism Crush Blue, Prism Crush Red, and Prism Crush. Samsung says the smartphone is powered by an octa-core chipset that uses two cores clocked at 2.0GHz and six cores clocked at 1.7GHz.

Galaxy A31 features a glasstic rear panel with the same prism pattern that we have seen on its predecessor, Galaxy A30s. On the front, the device includes a 20MP camera with an f/2.2 aperture for selfies.

Samsung is yet to announce the price and availability details for the Galaxy A31. Samsung is offering the phone in two variants with either 4GB RAM and 64GB storage or 6GB RAM and 128GB of storage. Both models support microSD cards of up to 512GB.

Like a lot of the Samsung phones released this year, the Galaxy A31 also has a rectangular camera module. The primary sensor is accompanied by an 8MP ultra-wide angle sensor with f/2.2 aperture and 123° FoV, a 5MP depth sensor with f/2.4 aperture, and a 5MP macro sensor with f/2.4 aperture. One of the prominent features of the phone is that it has come with a massive 5,000 mAh battery with 15W fast charging support. The main highlight of Galaxy A31 is its huge 5000 mAh battery and Quad camera setup. The device runs Android 10-based OneUI 2.0 out-of-the-box. Last but not least, you can double-press the Side Key to open the Camera app and turn the cover display in a mini viewfinder for selfie shots.

On the top, you'll get a much-needed 3.5mm headphone jack, then there's a USB Type-C port and speaker grille at the bottom, power button and volume rockers to the right.
