As per usual, the new season will bring a ton of new features, modes, playlists, weapons, maps, and operators, so expect the update to be pretty sizable when it gets released tomorrow. As you can see from the tweet further down the page, it looks like Alex from the Modern Warfare campaign will make an appearance in Season 3.

In the standard multiplayer mode there will be new maps including three dropping today.

The identity of the other map is a little more mysterious, and is now being debated by hardcore fans. Over the course of the season, playlists such as Demolition, Gun Game Reloaded and Gunfight variants will be added, along with some surprises.
