Two deaths, 156 new cases in Douglas County Sunday

As the curve keeps on flattening and less and less people are being reported infected or hospitalized our Townsquare Media Jersey Shore News Team will post a weekly report of the cases coming out of Monmouth and Ocean County's instead of a daily report.

As of 5:45 p.m. Saturday, Nebraska has 8,234 cases, 96 deaths and a total of 45,644 tests administered according to the Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services Dashboard website.

According to the Jackson County Health Department, five new cases were reported Monday at the Apalachee Correctional Institution (ACI) in Sneads.

That's made it hard to track totals, including in Fresno County, where officials have not released cumulative case totals like their counterparts in Tulare County, except to confirm 16 cases between two Dycora facilities in Fresno at the end of April. Skylight Gardens Assisted Living is reporting at least one new case.

The DCHD is working on gathering more information on the newest cases.

Province releases framework to allow hospitals to resume surgeries
If there is a complication and a patient seeking elective surgery or procedures need to be admitted, a separate wing is available. Individual hospitals, in consultation with regional committee, will determine if they can meet the guidelines, officials say.

In addition, 3,790 of total cases in PA are in health care workers. The number of tests per county is not included in the DPHHS updates. Yesterday, the state reported that 284,383 people had been tested for the virus.

28 percent are aged 65 or older. There have been no pediatric deaths to date.

"We must continue to protect our most vulnerable Pennsylvanians, which includes our seniors, those with underlying health issues, our healthcare workers and our first responders", Levine said.

Thirteen more Minnesotans have died due to complications from coronavirus, with the death toll up to 591, with 472 of them were in long term care facilities.
