Brad Pitt Congratulates Missouri State Graduates

The video was posted on MSU's Twitter feed and starts with the university's president, Clif Smart, alongside mascot, Boomer the Bear, saying he had special guest to deliver a message to students of the class of 2020, who were graduating at home due to the coronavirus pandemic.

A Missouri State University professor, seeking to do something special for graduates of MSU that were having their final year hampered by the coronavirus outbreak, chose to track down one of Springfield's most famous native sons to address graduates.

"It must be very unusual to do this in such hard times, but I want you to know that we all support you and that we are committed to you to make this world a better place".

The Academy Award victor, who donned a turquoise shirt and sported grayish facial hair in the video, added: "Our money is in you to make this world a better place". The school played Brad's encouraging message as part of their virtual graduation ceremony. I'm hoping you can send a message of support for our 2020 grads at Missouri State. And we wish you good luck in your future endeavors Inni done.
