Space Force follows the story of a decorated pilot named Mark R. Naird (Steve Carell) with dreams of running the Air Force.

Get ready to hear Steve Carell talk in his gravelly voice a lot as the second trailer for Netflix's upcoming comedy Space Force features a bunch of it.

Netflix's new trailer for Space Force is essentially an extended version of the recently released teaser.

Space Force was already one of our most anticipated shows of 2020, and now it's one of our most anticipated podcasts. The show stars Steve Carell as four-star general Mark R. Naird, who is given the daunting task of leading a brand-new branch of the US Armed Forces dedicated to colonizing the moon.

It won't be long before the workplace sitcom THE OFFICE makes the jump from Netflix to Peacock, NBC's streaming service, but all is not lost for those who delight in the art of cringe comedy.

SC mother accused of setting vehicle on fire with toddler inside
Watson parked her auto on the interstate and allegedly lit the vehicle on fire with Kairon still sitting in the back seat. A SC mother was arrested for allegedly setting her vehicle on fire with her toddler son inside, according to a report.

Carell co-created the 10-part comedy series with Greg Daniels, showrunner for the US version of The Office, so Carell's character is just as inept a leader in the trailer as he was on the iconic sitcom.

This new Netflix show will also star the likes of John Malkovich, Diana Silvers, Tawny Newsome, Ben Schwartz, Lisa Kudrow, Jimmy O. Yang, Noah Emmerich, Alex Sparrow, and Don Lake.

The question is, though, do we want to see Naird faceplant spectacularly, or should he and his ragtag group of Space Force founding members make the best of a hard situation?

And just in case you're dubious: The new trailer ends with a brief scene of a chimp and a dog floating in a microgravity environment. "New episodes Mondays and Thursdays each week, with guests like Steve Carell, Greg Daniels, John Malkovich, Ben Schwartz, Tawny Newsome, Diana Silvers and many more".
