Report suggests Steve Bruce got something wrong about Newcastle takeover

Ogden says it is important for the league to take what the players are saying into consideration, but points out that other players want to get back on the pitch.

In the wake of new coronavirus cases being detected in the Premier League, Tottenham star Danny Rose has stated that players are being treated like mere lab rats.

Legit.ng earlier reported that Premier League was dealt a blow on Tuesday, May 19, after six positive coronavirus cases were recorded among three clubs.

The Premier League is working towards a rough restart date of either June 12 or June 19, however Bruce fears his squad will need more time to reach full match fitness. "Let's see how we get on [and hope there are no infections]".

Bruce says he would respect the decision of any of his players if they were not comfortable returning to football, but offered a note of caution for the England global.

"But even with six weeks off from a usual season, you need around six weeks of pre-season with six games to get them ready for the first game".
