A SC mother was arrested for allegedly setting her vehicle on fire with her toddler son inside, according to a report.

Watson is being held at the Alvin S. Glenn Detention Center, and is now facing multiple charges: Attempted murder, first and third-degree arson, abuse, and infliction of great bodily injury upon a child.

Investigators said the auto was parked near mile marker 1 on I-126 West just after 1:30 p.m. on Sunday. He's right now at the Augusta Burn Center in Augusta with extreme consumes all over his body. Watson was also treated for minor injuries at a local hospital before she was taken to jail.

Reports say four bystanders stopped to help by calling 911 and getting out to help the child. Police along with firefighters arrived on scene and put out the fire.

Schools across North Yorkshire to get support with reopening
Schools in England are expected to open their doors to some year groups from 1 June. This is to ensure each school can decide whether they can open safely.

Watson was detained by authorities after authorities found evidence suggesting the fire was intentionally set.

The motive is still under investigation. Watson parked her auto on the interstate and allegedly lit the vehicle on fire with Kairon still sitting in the back seat.

A GoFundMe page has been set up to help the baby's father. "Growing up and being an adult in today's society you never think anything like this can hit so close to home", Steven Bramsen, the organizer of the page said.

"He's [Kairon] now at Augusta burn center in Georgia, where he will need multiple surgeries of skin grafts while he is there", Bramsen added.
