But now that she's splitting from her husband, French investment banker Olivier Sarkozy, we're all wondering what's going to happen to her fortune.

I know you've been dying for a Mary-Kate Olsen update, so here's some goss about her impending divorce from Olivier Sarkozy to feed your thirst.

That work ethic remained strong even after they retired from acting in 2012, with the twins starting their own fashion brand, The Row and Elizabeth and James. "Olivier has two grown kids and doesn't want more". They split in 2010 and were divorced the following year.

An insider told PEOPLE the couple's five-year marriage started to breakdown over disagreements about having children. "Now being a businesswoman dominates her time, and she is rarely impressed with guys".

She wrote: "My husband has terminated the lease on our New York City residence. without my consent".

According to TMZ, Olsen signed a petition for an emergency divorce on April 17, which was ultimately rejected by a NY judge due to the coronavirus pandemic. Mary-Kate briefly mentioned her role as a stepmom to Sarkozy's son Julien, 18, and daughter Margot, 16, during an interview with Net-A-Porter's The Edit in 2017.

"I have a husband, two stepkids and a life; I have to go home and cook dinner".

She added, 'I am petrified that my husband is trying to deprive me of the home we lived in and if he is successful, I will not only lose my home but I risk losing my personal property as well'.

Just one week ago, the Olsen twin was "in talks with lawyers" and looking for "other ways she can get around the situation" after a judge denied her petition for an emergency divorce. You find the thing that helps you relax and if you don't have it, you have to look for it. However, Olsen reportedly changed her mind on motherhood. While Sarkozy wanted Olsen out of the apartment as soon as possible, the Full House alum claims she is not allowed to go in and out of the building amid the COVID-19 crisis.

It seems like Olsen won't see much of a financial loss following her breakup with Sarkozy.

"Mary-Kate prefers to be quiet and alone and doing the things she likes", says a fashion source.
