Disney World Has Opened Its Park Ticket Sales For July 1

Dean at the University of Central Florida's Rosen College of Hospitality Management, Youcheng Wang, said that the reopening plans for the local attractions were "well thought out". Both theme parks announced re-opening plans that will put in place restrictions such as face masks, social distancing queues, elimination of mist elements of attractions, elimination of meet-and-greets, and more.

But once the theme park does re-open, Legoland will also be putting in place similar restrictions, including required face masks and temperature checks - however Legoland won't be providing face masks for those who didn't bring one. As officials monitor the restart, limits on inside-the-park crowd capacity are expected to gradually be lifted, reports THR. For example, they will use single-use paper menus and mobile ordering, with no self-service options.

Meanwhile, Walt Disney World cracked open its doors on Wednesday, offering dining and shopping to masked customers but leaving the beloved rides closed, as Florida begins to slowly get back to business after a coronavirus lockdown.
